This Committee is involved with the mission of zoos to carry out research. There is wide range of opportunities to study species outside their home range, which is important as many species are threatened with extinction in their natural habitat.

Planning for the recovery of threatened species is a complex process. This workshop focusses on developping skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and handle tough situations, complex problems and decisions that are part of this process.
